I sit here quietly in the early morning’s tranquility. The stars still shine in the sky. Its only 3 am and I wonder why? Why am I awake thinking of you? Your softness beneath me, I feel in this wakeful dream, yet I can’t seem to fall asleep to the thoughts you bring. My enchantress, my muse. You’ve opened a portal that beseeches me to follow, how could I refuse? 

In this dream, in the twilight of the early morning, I trail my fingers gently over your sleeping form, not wishing to wake my goddess, but simply needing to process the beauty that lies in my bed. 

You stir, in sleep you murmur…and smile. Oh the miles I would walk to just have a moment in your dream. You wake and I pull you into my kiss. My darling, my sweet flower, my dandelion wish. My reward, a deep, soft kiss.
